Yet another top shelf after party is set to kick off at Time Supper Club next Sunday, July 31st in Montreal.. The guests of honor will be none other than members of the Black Eyed Peas.
On the road promoting their 2009 album release The E.N.D (short for Energy Never Dies), will.i.am describes the music in a billboard magazine interview as “a lot of dance stuff, real melodic, electronic, soulful.”

After the show that apparently had the girls going crazy, Drake paid us at Time Supper Club his second visit to date. The crowd was decidedly more into him than his first encounter with us and we sure didn’t mind!
It’s a favorite pass time of us Montreal bums to wish for summertime. But every once and a while, we get more then we bargained for. A scorching 45 Celsius (~113 Fahrenheit) at the peak of the heat wave had me thinking I would die at any moment. But rather then sit inside and cry about it, the event photo image crew stepped up and decided on an expedition that was sure to keep us cool (yeah right): the Montreal Botanical Gardens.
Montreal-based reggae artists Jah Cutta & The Determination Band will hit the slopes at this year’s Whistler Ski & Snowboard festival, bringing a lil Jamaican flavour to this blow-out, 10 day 4/20 celebration in BC’s Rocky Mountains. Well known for their high energy, sincerely passionate live performances, this year’s show on the Whistler Village Mainstage promises to be a jam session not to be missed.
This show was way more crazy than I expected. The guy with a mouth guard standing next to me should have been my first clue. I have to say this concert was by far the most intense event I have been at as a photographer. Rivalling my time of playing sports back in the day. I felt like I was in a 45 minute rugby scrimmage.
A homemade sign held over head declaring: “Tiësto is My God”, swayed and bounced along to the beat of the electric waves being shot out of the night club sound system as fans danced themselves into a state of stupefied euphoria. Among the first DJs to break out of relative anonymity and cult followings to be elevated to the status of major stadium performer, Tiësto is deserving of all his accolades. Not only is this guy a fantastic and original DJ, he is such a sweetie! That adorable grin endears the man to one’s heart even without that killer back beat to get your heart racing. Put it all together with a great light show and a loving crowd, and the result is one fabulous night of great music and positive vibes.
