Electro-pop band Ladytron, based out of Liverpool, England, graced the stage at Ottawa bluesfest - bringing an electrified, robotic, bubblepop feel to an otherwise largely organic festival. It sure looked hot up on that stage with all the players dressed in black (maybe that's why most of them looked like they might pass out or fall asleep at any moment) notably, the bassist seemed to be quite used to doing a lot with a little, rocking intensely to his two chord part. The singers vocalists are adorable, and make them an act worth checking out. Still, their sound is better suited to a darker, smaller atmosphere.
